Haunts: stick your thumb on the scale with duplicate events
I run a deduplication step that first finds duplicate events (AI), followed by a calculation of which event should be the listed one. It factors in description, presence of a link to the event, and having an image for the calendar feed. If you don’t like the picks that are coming out of that, you can stick your thumb on the scale. Give your definitive source a few extra points vs the big aggregator, so that their own events win if the listing quality is equivalent, or give them a whole lot of points to ignore listing quality entirely. Or penalize a source whose events come in as “better than nothing, but not by much”, so that anyone else listing the event has their version shown.

It’s not clear, but I’d like to specify a specific Stripe buy link (e.g., before Ghost added a tip jar I created a specific buy link that people could use to make one-time donations). In this case, I want to accept donations for a specific activity (not relying on GoFundMe, etc) and I want to track that progress.

embed-level filter to exclude ongoing events by default
I see there's a user option to filter these out, but I'd like a preference in the settings area to enable hiding ongoing events by default. I think usually when people search for events, they are looking for single-day events.

Search X is not easy to hit
The X to clear the search box feels like a particularly small target, but I think the issue might not the size, but that this particular tag is missing the cursor-pointer class, so it doesn't appear to be clickable, which might explain why I kept mousing around trying to figure out where to click.
